Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional AI Mentor and Architect to coach and guide cross-functional cohorts (Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Software Engineers, and Data Scientists) through the journey of building and deploying 0-to-1 web-based GenAI software products.

Instead of managing headcount, your leadership will shine through weekly 2-hour technical training sessions and/or interactive Saturday Office Hours. You will serve as the ultimate technical sounding board and coach to coach students on frontend, backend, data science, and design teams as they build production-ready, cloud-deployed GenAI applications

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct group coaching sessions and office hours for product managers, designers, and data scientists on cutting edge GenAI technology.
• Architectural Guidance: Conduct technical system design reviews for early-stage web applications. Answer complex architecture questions spanning modern frontend frameworks, backend APIs, and cloud deployments.
• AI & Data Science Mentorship: Provide expert guidance on selecting and implementing the right frameworks for RAG, Agentic Workflows (using frameworks like Microsoft AutoGen, Google ADK, or SmolAgents), and Model Context Protocol (MCP). Advise data science interns on data cleaning, model fine-tuning, and building Ensemble forecasting models.
• Computer Vision Advisory: Guide teams utilizing Computer Vision (CNNs) on optimal implementation strategies using YOLO, CLIP, and Google MediaPipe.
• Cross-Functional Translation: Bridge the gap between engineering and design. Help UI/UX designers understand the technical constraints of AI systems (e.g., handling model latency, edge cases, and streaming responses in React/Next.js).
• Technical advice and troubleshooting: Deliver highly practical, empathetic code and architecture troubleshooting during Saturday office hours, helping junior developers navigate Dockerization, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Required Technical Skills and Experiences

• Must have experience in developing production-level GenAI products successfully, especially RAG and AI Agent products.
• Languages: Expert-level Python and JavaScript/TypeScript (Note: No Java, C, or mobile stacks required).
• Frontend/Backend: Deep familiarity with ReactJS, NextJS, Vue.js, SolidJS, NodeJS, and ExpressJS. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and API protocols (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).
• AI/ML & CV Ecosystem: Proven experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pydantic AI, AutoGen, SmolAgents, YOLO, and MediaPipe.
• Cloud & MLOps: Practical experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and setting up streamlined CI/CD pipelines
